A Quilt for Karen

Karen is my partner in crime, confidant and longest friend.  We met over 40 years ago.  We were on the same community basketball team coached by my father.  She turned 50 a few years ago and I felt it was a great time to give her a quilt.  As you can imagine, having a friend for that many years has given us many memories.  We used to keep a list of memories and I incorporate some of them into the stitches of the quilt.  I used fabric I purchased while on a trip to Hawaii.
