A Quilt for Baby Brielle

My son has been playing baseball for as long as I can remember.  During the winter months his practices would be held at an indoor facility called Slammers.  Kyle is one of the coaches there.  He makes every kid feel special.  In fact, he's just a big kid himself.  Throughout my son's time there he was a young employee fresh out of college, got married and then had his first child.  I just knew I had to make a quilt for his baby.  He and his wife Jen were expecting a girl so I set out to find the perfect pattern.  Here I'm using Frances Firefly Quilt Pattern by Elizabeth Hartman.  I've added additional strips of backing fabric in between each firefly to make the quilt a little larger.  It was so fun choosing the fabrics (from my stash of course) that I can't wait to make another!
